Launching your Boat for CRASH

If you trailer your boat there are two places where you can launch in Sidney. The public and free launch is at Tulista Park at the beginning of Lochside Drive, a little south of the town centre. Its about 5 minute boat ride from the Port of Sidney. If hoisting your mast is a challenge then a little north of downtown Sidney on Harbour Road is the launch at Van Isle Marina, next to the Sea Glass Restaurant. The advantage here is you can motor around to the west side of the Marina where the Govt Wharf is, it is quite tall and may be a better place to raise your mast, Its about  a 10 to 15 minute boat ride around to Port of Sidney Marina.
